Math teachers and Options Area administrators gathered this morning for their second session of Shifting Instruction to the Core, this time focusing on Core Actions Two and Three from the Instructional Practice Guides. Participants reflected on their implementation of "Multiple Representations" from our last session, worked through print and video resources on the Standards for Mathematical Practice, and engaged material to support the use of open questions and parallel tasks in mathematics classrooms.
